Persons who wish to support the mission of TCOE, without being in one of the membership categories and without making regular contributions are Volunteers.  Those who are in this category are adjunct resources on an as-needed basis based on the areas in which they would like to participate.

The Council of Elders of the Black Community of Howard County, MD takes great pride in advocating for the positive growth and development of the Black Community through its activities, programs, and partnerships.

If you like what we do and want to become a part of our organization, we welcome you to join us by becoming a TCOE member so we can together empower and support our community.

FRIENDS OF THE COUNCIL

 

Persons over the age of 25 who wish to support the mission of TCOE, without being in one of the membership categories, by making regular contributions are Friends of the Council.  Those who are in this category can serve on a committee.

DONATE

 

TCOE does a lot to support the youth within the school system as well as parents within the community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all donations to TCOE are tax-deductible. If you like what we do, then stand with us by donating to support our efforts.

TCOE SUCCESS STORIES


The Council of Elders has had a partnership with the Howard County Public School System since 2004. The goal of which is to create an environment in which African American students are recognized, supported, strengthened and empowered to meet and exceed high standards of academic excellence and student citizenship.
